It's been awhile

So it's been awhile since my last blog...I recently transfered from a T-Mobile retail store here in Albuquerque NM to the Tech call center here. The training is 8 weeks long and the schedule is rediculous! I'm working from 3-11:30 pm monday thru friday...it's nice to have the weekends off with Josh...but since he has to be up so early for work in the morning during the week it's been tough...I feel like I don't get to spend much time with him! And I'm being a bad fiance since I'm not home to make dinner for him!:) I know I'm old fashioned...but only 3 more weeks and then my schedule will be so much better and we'll actually be able to eat dinner together every night!

I have pretty much decided on a wedding date...although it's not quite for sure yet...September 18, 2010! And then we'll be going to Maui for our honeymoon (thanks to my future in-laws)! But I'm finding it very frustrating to try to plan a wedding in CA when I'm living in NM!

Josh's parents where here visting in September for a week and I had a lot of fun spending time with them! I only wish I could have spent more time with them while they were here! We got to go to some interesting places while they were here and I got to go on the Sandia Tramway (http://www.sandiapeak.com/) with them...which is a tram car that hangs from a wire that takes you to the top of the Sandia Mountain range. It was super high up in the air which kind of freaked me out (I do not like heights)...but then once we got out at the top it was beautiful! We could see all of Albuquerque down below! There's a visitor center and a resturant at the top...we ate lunch there and the view was amazing! I also got to visit The Taos Indian Pueblo with them which was really neat! http://www.taospueblo.com/

We also got Bella (our cat) a new friend! I know I'm a sucker for kittens! But our new baby Lucy is so cute!

We're engaged!

Josh and I have been talking about getting engaged and married and what the future holds for us for awhile now and we were going to go look at rings around my birthday...but today we went out to lunch together and there was a jewlery store nearby and I said "maybe we should go by there just to find out what my ring size is?" So we did and then decided to go look at another store and on the way Josh told me that if I find a ring I love we should just get it, why wait?...so we looked and I found a ring that I love...so he got it...we came home and Josh got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Of course I said yes!!!

One of my coworkers cats had kittens a few weeks ago and right away I wanted one...and after convincing Josh, we decided to take the only girl in the litter. We got her on Saturday and decided to name her Bella...the name just seemed to fit. She is a really good kitty, very playful and fun! She absolutely loves Josh. She follows him everywhere and loves sitting on his lap!

I have some friends who have started blogs...so I decided to try this! Since I live so far away from my family in CA it's a good way to keep everyone updated on things going on in my life here in New Mexico!
